After an accident, a lot of people get steered toward a shop their insurance company recommends. That shop may be fine. But it may not be the right fit for your vehicle or your situation, and you might not know the difference until after the fact.
If you go through the process on your own, you’re the one calling the adjuster, reviewing the estimate, questioning whether the scope of work is right, and pushing back when something gets missed. That’s a lot to take on when you’re already dealing with the stress of an accident. Most people don’t know what to ask, what to look for, or what rights they actually have.

Collision Center 1 works with major insurance carriers and knows how the claims process works. When you bring your vehicle to us, we handle the communication with your insurer on your behalf. If the adjuster’s estimate doesn’t cover what the repair actually requires, we go back to them and request a supplement. You don’t have to fight that battle yourself.
If you haven’t filed a claim yet, we can help with that too. We’ll walk you through what to expect, help you understand your options, and make sure you know your rights before you make any decisions. The goal is to make sure you go into this process informed, not guessing.

Your insurance company may recommend a shop. You are not required to use it. In Minnesota, you have the right to choose where your vehicle gets repaired. That right matters, because the shop you choose is the one responsible for the quality of your repair.
We’re not here to talk you out of anything. We’re here to make sure you understand your options so you can make the right call for your situation.
